Micro Masterclass Series

Big ideas in small doses.

Our Micro Masterclasses bring leading voices from the public sector, academia, and civic tech to share sharp insights and practical tools — all in under an hour. Designed for curious minds ready to rethink and reshape the public sector.

We’re thrilled to have launched the Public Makers Micro Masterclass Series in partnership with the TUM Think Tank — a new format designed to bring top minds from public sector innovation, governance, and civic tech directly to students.

Our first session featured none other than Katrin Suder, a trailblazer at the intersection of technology, governance, and societal transformation. As one of Germany’s most influential voices in public innovation, Katrin shared powerful insights on driving systemic change and navigating a purposeful career path in the public domain.

Our second guest was André Geier, Head of IT and Event Technology at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). With a career deeply rooted in driving digital transformation within government, André gave us a candid, behind-the-scenes look at what innovation in the public sector really means.

André left us with a powerful message:

Digital transformation starts in our minds.

It’s about rethinking structures, embracing innovation, and recognizing the people behind the processes. He called on the next generation of IT superheroes to step into the public sector—and shape the systems of tomorrow.
